There is a very good article on the making of the film together with info
on the landing crafts, the Marders (they were ORIGINALS found in
Czechoslovakia!) and the jeep (it was an Hotchkiss with a car engine in
it...) in After The Battle magazine no. 103.
It also explains how they performed the killing of the sniper throu the
telescopic sight...
