OK, for those who don't know about this place, it is full of
mil-vehs awaiting the loving hands of restorers. Problem is,
you don't get to do the restoring. If you see something you
like, you will be quoted a restored price of say, $7500.00.
If you want it "as is", you will be quoted a price of say,
$7500.00. That's right, Jack wants to sell restored stuff.
He is willing to part with "extra" or "optional" stuff. Door
mounted tire carriers for M37's are an item he is willing to
part with, as long as you are willing to spend $375 for one.
Who's paying this kind of money for moderately restored
mil-vehs? I suspect the Hollywood movie studios, or anyone
else who has money to throw around. It is an interesting and
informative place to visit. He is an accomodating host who
will let you walk around and take notes and pictures. So
here it is:
