I have an engine with head removed & missing head bolts. According to TM9-1840A there are 21 head bolts. ORD9 SNL G-741 lists two part numbers, 7702732 (quantity 18) and 7702731 (quan. 3). They both are listed as 7/16-14NC x 2&13/16 long. One says "tapped."
What's the difference and where do the three tapped bolts go in the head tightening sequence?
Anybody have these bolts available?
What about cylinder head gasket?
