This 24V bulb business seems to have the US in a right tizzy.

Joe et all, for info, we have 24V throughout on all trucks here over about a 1
ton payload, 24V bulbs are as common and cheap as 12V. I can readily pick up 10
off unit boxes of 24V bulbs for any panel, marker, stop/tail or turn signal
application for a few dollars a box and they are readily mailable.

Headlight bulbs are easy too in 24V, the British pre-focus you won't find there
at all - has a disc base with a tiny D shaped alignment cut-out but will only be
left-hand dip of course as the low-beam filament is off-set. (Ferret, Saracen,
early LR etc).

P45t Halogens in 75/70W with a stepped disc base and a tiny alignment tang, in
mil light units these dip vertically. (Stalwarts, Abbot, Scorpion, Fox,
Chieftain etc) and the current H1 and H4 24V halogens. Typically these are all
about $8 each as a guide.

If you get yourselves together and decide what's needed I can easily mail boxes
of 24V bulbs over, frankly the US truck system of 24V alternators and starters
with 12V lighting confuses us greatly.
