Hi all,
I would like to add my two cents to this...
My GPW is incorrect in that it has the wrong engine, but the F marked trans,
transfer case and bell housing are all still in the original paint (I have
stripped most and found no traces of grey paint) and they are green.
I suppose they could have all been involved in some level of depot rebuild
in which they were completely stripped and repainted an "incorrect"
as-shipped-from-the-factory color, but it seems unlikely.
