Hey, all of you !

For our next attempt on the Stilwell/Ledo Road in April, we are still
looking for two last additional participants to fill a second Willys MB.
With Herman Pfauter (MVPA) and most probably two Belgians specialized in WW2
and modern amphibious vehicles who would fill one Jeep, we still have two
seats available in the second one. My Rangoon-based friends Hervé Flejo and
Olivier Gaiemet intend to come along with motorbykes. A total of 10 days
should be spent in Myanmar/Burma, starting on 6 or 7 April in Mandalay. See
Army Motors # 90 to have an accurate idea of the known part of the
adventure. The following part should drive us to Bhamo, on the Irrawaddy
River, which we would sail down to Mandalay on an old cabin boat that would
remind us good old times... I am still waiting for precisions on the exact
program and cost, which will be comprised between US$ 2,000 and 2,500 per
person, all inclusive from Mandalay (starting point).

Hurry up ! Administrative procedures take time in Burma. And this will be a
"first" for foreigners on WW2 Jeeps ; this part of the Stilwell/Ledo Road is
not yet open to foreigners. Piece by piece, we intend to "re-open" this
mytical road to historical tourism. Be part of it !

Alain HENRY de FRAHAN
