Hi List,
I have an M38A1 that was painted several times over the original paint.
It has too much rust in areas to even think of sand blasting.
I want to remove the loose paint and paint it OD.

Having read on the list about removing paint using oven cleaner spray, I
have several questions;
How quickly does the cleaner cut ???
If it is not left on long, can it remove the top layers, or will it go
thru all paint quickly ???
Under the hood my jeep has paint that seems to be peeling . Would a
spray and quick wash-off remove the loose paint ???

Will I need a power washer ???
Would a hose with a fast nozzle remove the cleaner and paint ???

I would appreciate all advice and comments about your experience.
My goal is to prepare and paint the jeep in time for Memorial Day. I
have no indoor area so it is a spring project.
