Are these beds solid magnesium or is there a base metal in the alloy I need
to be aware of. I have a broken bracket and a few holes that need to be
filled. I imagine it will need to be Tig welded.

That would be nice, but I glued some of my broken off parts on with JB Weld
epoxie, as well as filled some holes. I can always go back and chip it off
and do it right, but it save alot of time, and frankly, I think the JB weld
is holding better than the original welds are.

qualified welder they could refer me to........

I think I'd start at an airport or a firm that does airplane repair, just a
thought.
