i disagree........ the first set of batteries were bad and would not
hold a charge, but the voltage across them indicated that everything
else was working. the second set of batteries with the new alternator
has a problem. all you have to do is measure the battery voltage again
to see if the system is overcharging. sounds like the alternator is set
at much too high a voltage.
