        While not a wartime application......My BSA M-20 motorcycle is
still painted in it's post WW II colors. The BSA is painted Bronze Green
and has stencilled in red paint, arranged in a semi-circle around the
petrol cap, "DRIVE.......ON THE........RIGHT SIDE" . The unit was used
in Europe before being imported into the US and I have seen others with the
same warning on them.
