M151 CARB was mutt starting problem

On the m151 carb where does the spring go that is behind the plate on the
back side of the carb? Is it plate, gasket, spring, or plate spring,
gasket, The mutt starts now but is running very badly will not idle
seems to be running rich Any body got a carb?
