In regard to inflating Humvee tires it is so simple that it will boggle your
mind! After the tire is mounted on the rim (2 half pieces) you use a truck
tire inflator. All Truck Tire stores will have this item. It looks like a
20 lb propane bottle with a 1 1/2" pipe neck and a nozzle that resembles a
vacuum cleaner. The valve on it looks like a large gas shut-off and it is
inflated to about 125 psi. The nozzle is placed at the bead of the large
tire, valve is opened instantly and with a loud POOF, tire is instantly
mounted and inflated to about 7 or 8 psi! Best way I have ever seen to
mount a large tire. All trucking tires are done this way. Saves a lot of
everything else! Regards, Julian Burke
