Hi list...I just came back from the wholesaler - C.O.R.P. and here is what I
found out. The boxes are still in the warehouse and are soon to be shipped
over to the retail side called Mt. Impact for public sale.
Details: Olive drab exterior finish with a white and red medic emblem on top,
plywood const., I'm guessing 3/8" ply? Clear finish on what looks like a
"clear-birch" interior, metal frame, stackable inter-loc design, removable
door with recessed lockable latch, deadbolt is a push back - spring close.
Heavy steel rod handles on either end. Made in Sweden, but don't see any
foreign lettering. These boxes are outstanding shape and very well made...
rivets and steel reinforced all over the place.
Dimensions are: 15.5 X 31.5 X 24" Wt. 55 lbs.
Price is $39.95 (I think half of them sold already, not even advertised yet.
I bought two.)
UPS ground is: $9.85 zone 2, $12.15 zone 3, 13.93 zone 4, 17.02 zone 5,
21.06 zone 6, 25.77 zone 7, 30.42 zone 8. You will have to check to see what
zone your are in. The rates are for shipping to a residence, a store is
slightly cheaper.
I don't know if there is any extra shipping charge based on the dimensions,
but maybe you should check and be sure first.
You can call Malissa at 530-894-1596 and she can arrange payment and
shipping. She was a little neighborhood girl when I was a cop and now she
works at the Mt. Impact Store.... real nice young lady and she will pick out
a good one for you, you can say I referred you if you want, but not necessary.
