Hi list!
I recently picked up a radio mounting base in NOS (unissued and unused)
condition.
It still has the cloth bag of mounting hardware attached. Dimensions
are approx. 12" x 15" and has 4 rubber shock mounting between the bottom
plate and the actual radio mounting plate. Printed in black on the
plate is "80063" , "assy A2023150" and mfr "54736". there is also a
plate attached reading "nomen: Mount, elec. eqpt. MT-6234/GRC-213
Dsgn Act: 80063 Item No. A3023140 Mfr. 54376 Ser No: 038 US
spec (blank)
Control No: DAABO7-96-F0672".
Also attached to one side is a vertically mounted box approx 6" x 8"
with a plate identifying is a "ant switching unit SA 2365/GRC-213 Dsgn
act: 80063 Item No: A3023160 mfr 54736 Ser No:197
US Spec: A3023163 Contr No: DAABO&-96-F-0072". also has
several ground straps, swivel-mounted hold down bolts and caps on the
antenna attachments (1 of these is missing but the string is still
there)
I'd appreciate any info the "Radio Gurus) on this site can provide as to
what radio this was used with, what vehicle it might have been mounted
in and value of it.
I would consider any reasonable offers and if you're interested let be
know. Best offer by April 3 can have it.
