If memory severs me right there was one dukw that sunk in a lake which ended
in death for some of the people who were rideing in it. i believe it was a
mechanical problem that caused the sinking. it had had a recent overhaul and
someone had not correctly put a part that held the water out at the prop
shaft. from what the owners said it had a perfect record up to that time.so i
quess it pays to know who your mechanic is.
