Well said. Look, any one of us can post any number of political, social,
or otherwise messages which also have nothing to do with MVs at all. I
know we all have deep feelings about various issues (political and
otherwise), but there are appropriate and inappropriate places to bring
them up. A column, letter, article, whatever that mentions the word
"military" does not make it relevant to this discussion forum.

I respectfully ask people to post such messages where they belong, which
is not here. There are thousands of places to sound off on the political
scene, but unless it has something directly to do with military vehicle
policy affecting our hobby it should be kept off this list. If someone
wants to read political commentary it isn't hard to find places to get
the stuff. Just pick your flavor, RIGHT or LEFT, and soak it up since
both are very vocal. But I for one didn't sign up for this list for
either take on things unrelated to MVs.

Further more... it is against Mil-Veh list policy to make such posts as
Arthur can tell you better than I. And that should count for something
since we all agreed to the policy when we signed up for this list.

Thanks,

Steve
