Hello,

Have been changing the master cylinder on a M-35. The brake fluid is yellow
with no smell, unlike normal brake fluid I have seen. Would like to know
what to put back in place of it. I've heard that mixing silicone and
conventional brake fluid is not a good idea. Or should I flush the whole
system and start all over. Is there a way to tell if it's silicone fluid or
not? The master cylinder was the old style master cylinder and had no rust
in the bore, but was leaking. Could this be silicone fluid?

Thanks in advance for any help received,
