Hello all,
Does anyone know a web site address for the Army Quartermaster Corps
Museum? Or if there even is one?
An Army Motors article from 1942 reprinted in Military Vehicles Magazine
number 19 was a nice summary of the various vehicles used and maintained
by the QMC. It included a description of a mobile commissary/post
exchange body designed to be mounted on a deuce and a half. It had
dozens of bins for storing items of interest to the man in OD. I believe
this may have been the origin of the "ammo wagons" used by Ringling
Brothers referred to in a recent posting to the list.
If anyone can help, I will make sure that the info gets passed along.
