Strange kits

I almost forgot.

One of our american members has found some boxed kits. They are full of
steel plate sections including what looks like a rather angular bonnet
and a rectangular plate with two ball mounts and flaps.

Each box is marked 'Kit, Conversion, Armored, T25E1' Some parts appear
to need bolting together [or riveting?] and the parts need a de-rust.

First person to tell me exactly what they are can have one for free if
they can be bothered to drive to Illinois. No delivery sorry.
