I have occasion to be around several diesel mechanics on off road equipment,
most all of them have something either built themselves or a copy of
something somone else had and all of them are designed to cut air flow. I
have been told that once they start to run away they will suck oil out of
oil bath air cleaner if they have one and when this happens you should run
away for they are going to blow.
