From your post it sounds like the vehicle had been parked for some time with
low air preasure in the tires. I would suspect that the tire have flat
spotted from sitting. This is common and will introduce a wheel hop that
will cause a wheel shimmy. If you drive it around "slowly" long enough to
get the tires warm they will probably round out and the shimmy may go away.
I had one set of recap 900x16 ND that took a set and would never round out.
Try switching the wheels around start by putting your spair on the left
front see if that changes the shimmy.
