Glenn - most any stripper will work -- I would sugguest that you stay away
from the "oven cleaner" stuff that is talked about so much on web, it will
attack the aluminum. If you do sandblast any CARC keep in mind that the
stuff if breathed will cause very serious health problems -- very serious
nerve damage I have been told. I did mine with very hot water and pressure
washer at about 1800 psi
