Thanks John for your help on this. I measured
the skid brackets tonight. They are not on the floor
as I previously indicated but on the front box wall.
It looks like the skid or whatever slides under them.
The brackets measure 45 inches to the outside edges.
This is just a tad smaller than the width of the inside
of the bed. The brackets are about 4 to 4 1/2 inches
wide where the skid would slide under. I can make
out US ARMY on the box sides but no other markings.
I will take pictures and scan them as soon as I can.
