The correct color would be the yellow plate. The green plates were not used
till later on- late 70`s. The plate represents the total tonage of the
vehicle with a load. Thus your m37 would display a "04". If you are pulling a
trailer(m101, usually) your plate would reflect the tonnage of both vehicles,
loaded. So you would display a "06" with the red "C" on top to show that the
weight is a Combined total. The weights are rounded up to the nearest ton.
