I have a 1968 m45a2 based usaf fire truck converted by Ward LaFrance. The
truck was formerly at Kingsly field in Oregon. It seems to have origionaly
(cab and Chassis any way) have been OD but over that is red and over that is
a coat of strato blue and finaly a sort of sickly light yellow green with
black stick on vinyl numbers/letters and red reflective stick on strips with
"US Air Force" in white. I am trying to decide what color to go with when I
redo it. What is the designation for that Light green-yellow? (FS number or
Name)
Also if I decide to go with strato blue what would be the proper color for
lettering ? I am assuming yellow? and finaly I know these trucks were used by
the army also but how about the navy or marines? If so what colors did they
paint them. any of them use an overall MC green/or OD. It is very nearly
impossible to find photo documentation of these specilazed trucks so I am
again drawing from the Mil-veh list well of knowledge
   Thanks again
