DRMO Hell

OK folks, this could get ugly...

Made the trip to DRMO Lakehurst [NJ] from Aberdeen, MD this morning to
attempt to take delivery of my M185 deuce. Came equipped with tools, fuel,
batteries, duct tape, bailing wire and anything else I thought might be able
to use.
Didn't waste too much blood or tears on getting the new batteries in, and
after having a [less than] polite conversation with the wasps residing in
the van, thought I was ready to be on my way...
When I threw the switch, the warning buzzer sounded right on cue, and on
pressing the starter button, the Herc cranked over for the first time in who
knows how long.
But that's all it did. cranked. Not an ounce of fire out of it. I even
had the yard driver drag me around the lot a few times to try and pull start
it. Got nothing more than a little smoke out of the stack.
Anybody been in this ring of DRMO Hell before? It's a three hour drive
one way, and I'm kinda stumped.
Any help to get my beast breathing will be HUGELY appreciated.

  Don
