On the subject of good PR...
I just got back in from my nephew's birthday party. It was suggested
somewhere down the line that some of the kids in attendance might like a
ride in the monster(deuce) parked in the driveway.
I agreed, and with another adult to help the kids in and out of the truck,
began turning laps of the neighborhood. I thought it'd take a half hour or
so and be over with...
Boy was I wrong. I took every kid in the county around the block, most
twice or three times, including a lot of parents! At the end of the
'event', I was still swamped with requests for a ride in 'the beast'.
Note: When I first brought the truck home, I noticed a lot of concerned
looks on people's faces. By the end of this afternoon, it was all smiles.
Just goes to show...
