Battery Charging

You can charge a battery from anything that has a higher voltage than the
battery, DC of course. You could charge a 12V from say two other 12V
batteries in series, or charge a 6 from a 12 etc, but you'd need/want to put
a current limiting resistor in the circuit,.. As to direction of current
flow, you can connect that anyway you want, of course there would be a right
way and a wrong way. And if you do it the wrong way, this is a bad thing..
