hi all
the best way to pick up an extra mile or so per gallon is get two extra
axle shafts and cut the flange off, then remove the shafts from one of
your axles now install the Dummy flanges
you can leave the drive lines alone looks live will pass any visual
inspection on the front axle get two extra flanges (axle cap) machine
out the splines install these and the front axle is disconnected, i use
this arrangement on my truck for long drives and has gotten me 11 mpg
