Hiys Steve........

No problem......... look at the diff around the area of the drain plug. You
will see a makers casting ....if it looks like this.... start worrying :-

                                            K2 0
                                         8754406
                                  C A

The "K2 0" and the "C" and the "A" are cast into small metal tags affixed to
the diff itself while the ord no. 8754406 is cast into the diff. The C and A
stand for Canadian Acme.

Hope this helps. It may be of some consolation to know that ALL mutt diffs
howl a bit, some more than others.
