His statement of being a homo (definitely not gay in
the classical sense or definition) is a description of
his political ideas, homos are a powerful political
force in the world today. Few politicians will cross
them. They're very well organized. Watch one of
their demonstrations sometime.

He's trying to align other homos to his cause by
stating his alliance on this list. Its an attempt to
legitimize his condition by making it familiar to as
many people as he can. It serves no other purpose as
many have noted.

At the best this person's been duped by other homos,
at the worst he's what he seems.
