I do have an original RR B Range engine manual, second edition, April 1958,
TSD 702. This covers the whole engine range and ancillaries, it is a fairly
hefty tome and would run something like 14 STG/$22US to copy plus postage.

The military version is called EMER Power S 524.

The David mechanical pump seems to be ultimately reliable, but I have no
idea what strange, self-oxidising American petrol does to it or the carb
diaphragms.

Whilst 12V electric pumps are abundant I expect you would need an aircraft
one for 24V.

No.
It is crucial that the carb diaphragms are correctly fitted using a defined
procedure or they will be damaged in service. You might try Marcus Glenn:

for supplies of new diaphragms and many other B Range engine spares.

The standard fuel filter usually takes care of everything, element part
6MT-12-2910-99-807-5767, available from the above.

Cleaning FV701 tanks is not something we hear of as a standard requirement.
