The summer issue of Forward, The American Heritage of
DaimlerChrysler magazine published by the Walter P.
Chrysler Museum has three articles that may be of interest
to HMV collectors.
The first is a profile of Joe Frazer, Chrysler's Sales Manager
in the 1930s and President of Willys-Overland in the 1940s.
The second article is a bit on General Pershing's use of Dodge
cars and trucks during the Punitive Expedition into Mexico in
1916.
The third article is The Tale of Two Engines, Chrysler's hemi
V-16 used in the XP-47H and Chrysler's 30 cylinder tank engine
which was esentially five Chrysler Windsor six cylinder engines
mounted radially to a common gear casing.
The magazine may be available thru DaimlerChrysler dealers.
