Matt,
On a MUTT I had with only fair vinyl windows, I used swirl removing
compound. It's very smooth and is used to take the swirl marks out
of paint after a buffer and stronger compound is used. I wouldn't use
this on good, clear and scratch-free windows, just on ones that are
already somewhat scratched and/or discolored.
There might be a product available for cleaning convertable top rear
windows.
