Matt,
have you checked the depth of the socket? The contact is spring loaded.
If it is pushed back to far and gets caught it might not reach the bulb.
Also, check the resistance to ground of the stop light socket. You could
have the lamp grounded (hence the other lights work) but lost the internal
connection from ground to the stop light. Electrical problems can be
