List,
Having been employed by an automotive prototype shop and the mfg. of the
Hummer frame (made in Venezuela) All the prototypes built by both companies
were assembled to a higher standard, using highly skilled machinists, welders
and mechanics, above the normal assembly line cut and burn "MIG" welding and
hammer it to fit. Also when assembling prototypes say for GM, we had to use
the GM family of parts to assemble the vehicle, not just run out to the local
auto parts store. If it looks like a garage project it probability is a
garage project.
