A friend of mine tried to weld a hole in an oil pan while it was still on the motor in the vehicle. The pan blew up, he got burned and damn near burned the shop down. He should have known better. Another friend was badly burned while washing parts in gasoline. A kerosene heater 15 feet(4 meters) away ignited the gasoline fumes. This garage burned to the ground. He was out of work for six months while he recovered.
