Barracks, best and worst

Ah yes, I recall fond memories of sleeping under a camo covered lean to, next
to my armoured vehicle, surrounded by jeeps and trucks and GP small tents, oh
wait.... that was Woodson's Bridge MVPA 1999... lol

All time best and worst barracks...

Worst: Camp Parks, Patton's old base. WWII structures, two story, with the
asbestos shingles on the outside, you know the kind? Pretty delapidated,
cold, leaking, plumbing occassionally worked, seen better buidlings that were
red tagged. (Koblenz-Ger was a runner up)

Best: Beale AFB, cold war home of the SR-71 and B-52's. The B-52 scramble
shacks were located right on the flight line. They were outstanding! In
ground pool, wet bar, rec room with pool table, like staying at the Holiday
Inn. Only prob there was dozens of nukes stored about 1300 yards away. Why
1300 yards? Safety buffer! lol
