Hello TJ,

1. Was it built for or owned by a branch of the armed services? (And I would
consider former Coast Guard items to qualify.)

2. Does it have wheels or tracks?

3. Is it self-propelled? OK. I only checked the American Heritage Collegiate
Dictionary, but the others probably include this stipulation in their
definitions. This would pretty well restrict a trailer, which would be towed by
a vehicle, to another category. An accessory? What would that mean for a
bicycle?

4. Don't put too much faith in definitions. If you love them and you consider
them military vehicles, that's good enough for me.

Have fun!
