There are a number of gas ones in town, including two product-placement
'station-wagon' configured ones on the series 'Seven Days', one of which
has a Corvette motor installed. The plus for using them in film is that
they
don't drive the sound guy nuts (the gas ones being considerably quieter than
their diesel cousins), but some 4x4 special I caught on 'Speedvision' or
something put the fuel mileage at something like 4mpg (presumably
on the worst sort of terrain imaginable in 4L, but still not something I'd
want the wife using as a runabout in town.)
