Ahh...yeah. I have a 1009 like that in the fleet as well. You wind it for
a few
seconds after the WAIT light extinguishes, then it'll catch on the second
go-round.

I've experimented leaving the ignition 'ON' for some time after the pre-glow
period
and let it do its thing, and then the vehicle usually starts. Usually.

Haven't had time to explore this further, but it's the only one in the
stable with the problem.
