Now isn't that just like our government, to come up with a manual for
something that never happened.....
wonder if MI-5 is in on this too......

Hi all!,
I have a publication from Ford Motor Co. covering the unpacking and assembly
of GPW jeeps. A nicely illustrated 8 page pamphlet showing the crate and
the jeep in various stages of assembly. One of these days when I have time,
I'll scan it and put it on the web if anyone is interested. The title page
says :
FORD TRUCK
1/4 TON 4 X 4
MODEL GPW
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR
UNPACKING & ASSEMBLY
OF BOXED
VEHICLE
Fully Sheathed Crate
Ford Motor Company
Dearborn, Michigan
FORM 3679-1

Maybe somebody like Portrayal Press has copies of this for sale.
