You can get a new axle assy and the mc and the brake lines and the wheels and
tires and the adapters for the lunette eye, or you can bolt your 1953 M101
body right on the M116A2 chassis in an hour and presto you are in business.
Converting the old trailer is a lot of work...some have done it, never seen a
kit, but some of the components have been released by DRMO. Get the parts
book for the surge brake chassis and run a search in DRMS and see what is in
the system.. you may be able to get a couple of parts each time you buy a
batch lot of 7 or 8 tons of CC F stuff and why in no time, probably only
several years, you should have all you need... RAM MVPA #217
