Depends on several things. Size and type of MV, whether you have the
resources yourself to load and unload, in addition to having capable
equipment to actually perform the transport. Don't forget to take into
account the actual time it will take you to do it yourself. Fuel expenses
and insurance shouldn't be forgotten either. Biggest factor, is have you
ever done something like this before?

Sometimes it can be wiser and safer to hire it done for you. Backhauls can
be very reasonable, when you start adding up the little things.

In case you don't know, a backhaul is typically a lower pay hauling job
taken by a truck for a return trip to prevent running empty. You have to be
fairly flexible on your timing sometimes. But, they can be located for most
areas.
