I remember that Harley-Davidson delivered to WO between the fall of
'43 and the spring of '44 four engines derived from the XA's
boxer-twin for installation in a prototype lightweight Jeep. Does
anyone knows about this? were these four prototypes ever built and
delivered to the Army for testing? is there any one of them still in
existence?
