I received the following response from the person alleging to sell Humvees
at a low price. I suggested an escrow. I replied to this note saying I'm
sure the shipping company might either take an assignment from the neutral
escrow holder or a bank would lend or give a letter of credit based on the
escrow.
What I'm going on is how I would handle it if I were a legitimate seller in
the same position. I'm sure this seller can understand our feelings when it
comes to sending serious $$$$$$s into Cyberspace.
Will let the list know if I receive any further responses since I would
love to get one of these units.
