cond, restorable. #2 poor-fair cond, both with battery box & the super
hard to find canvas bags. May have one mic, definitely have mic
connectors, can loan manual.

PRC-41, Collins, 225-399.9 mc synthesized, AM backpack transceiver.Used
by FAC's & ground troops for fighter strike control, approx 1964-
1980. Ops from ext 24vdc or Batt box, 110vac with optional
PP-3700(avail).

PRC-47, Collins 2-12mc, 20/100watt SSB/CW/TTY, write.

PRC-64, HF/AM/CW solid state transceiver used by CIA(Delco 5300), US

rec.Experimental
set developed & hand built by ARVIN in the late 60's for DF'ing enemy
trans.Has sig/batt mtr, 10/75kc bandwidths, xtal cal.Ops from ext 24vcd,
110vac, or int"D"cell batteries(12ea).VG cond chkd, simi operational
 
URC-32(Collins KWT-6), 1.8-30mc, 500watt all mode, synthesized
transceiver. Mnted in 6' rack cab, used by the U.S.Navy & Air Force.
w/man.

URC-68, solid state, dual band(VHF/FM & UHF/AM) 4ch, hand held
transceiver. Originally intended for issue to helicopter crews in
Vietnam. Saw limited service with Army Rangers & Special Forces.

USQ-46, Anti-intrustion detection system. Used from early-late 70's.
Set includes:
R-1617A/USQ-46, programmable VHF/FM back-pack receiver(approx 130-200mc
at least). Monitors up to 70 or so sensors at one time. Can also be used
as a standard communications scanner. Uses PRC-25/77 type battery(12vdc),
and audio accessories.
TS-2963/USQ-46, Companion test set to above receiver. Same size and
appearance. A very elaborate synthesized signal generator that test all
operational parameters of the system pryer to, or while in, the field.
w/PP-6446 power supply that clips on to the bottom of the unit in place
of the battery box.
Torpedo shaped, aircraft deployed, seismic/acoustic sensor w/auto deploy
steal tape ground plain antenna, also uses PRC-25/77 type battery.
This was the most high tech gizmo to be used along the "Macnemara Line"
in Vietnam. In operation the sensor was thrown from an aircraft either
with, or without a parachute. If with a chute, it was suspended from tree
tops by the parachute cords. If without a chute, was fitted with a spike
that partially buried the sensor in the ground. In both cases, a steel
tape type ground plain antenna automatically deployed from the top of the
unit. When triggered, alarm & audio signals were transmitted back to the
receiver where it's operators could listen in on the surrounding
activity.

URT-21, UHF hand/held or air deployable beacon used to spot drop zones,
or mark the location of downed aircrew. Needs antenna.

URT-33, as above except small, and later model.

PARA-MILITARY:

DRF-II, small hand held DF receiver used by ground troops to locate
downed aircrewman, or special ops units to locate air dropped supplies.
Two telescoping antennas come out the top of the radio to form a two
element yagi. Haze gray color, solid state, Ops 243mc, uses 'AA'
batteries(housed in it's pistol type grip).

Eldico SSB-100 MIL, early 50's(military version of ham SSB-100F) general
coverage SSB transmitter, VXO controlled. 19" rack mnt(about the size of
an R-390), haze gray color. Collin's only SSB competition. w/manual

SA-104(Motorola circa approx early-mid 60's), 4 chan xtal contr, HF
LSB/USB/AM/CW 100 watt transceiver. Solid state except for 4 tubes in
transmitter(pair 6146 output tubes). Could be used as desk top base,
mobile, or simi-portable using separate external power supply(not avail).
Ops from 110vac, or variuos DC sources dependant on the power supply
used. Removed from service with the Missouri State National Gaurd.

Motorola MX-300 HT Accessories:
Batteries, new, high capacity, by Alexander. Fits all standard, and "S"
versions.
Speaker/mics, fits all versions of MX HT's, unused.
Belt loops holder, fits all standard, & "S" versions.
Antenna, VHF "rubber duckie", fits all MX versions

RCA SSB Mark IV, xtal control AM/SSB transceiver. CD marked. W/ manual,
(local pickup only).

RF-SB6(Harris) HF SSB/AM, desk top base/mobile transceiver, uses Collins
455kc mechfilters, approx 100 watt, 6 chan xtal contr, 110vac ops,
1.6-16mc. It had various(as yet undocumented) military duties, as the
predecessor to the RF-301, with an original U.S.government cost of
$4365.00, Circa 1964. Haze gray color. VG-cond. M & F versions avail
w/manual.

RF-201M, xtal contr mobile solid state AM/SSB transceiver. W/pwr sup &
manual.

RF-230S(Harris), 1.6-30mc, all mode, desk top base, or mobile. Late
model, 125 watt, synthesized/ front panel programmable. Ops from 12vdc.
With mic, manual, & power cable. Exc cond, this came from the Canadian
Government(SRC-512) and is so marked. Will swap towards portable HF/SSB
type, or RF-280.

RF-301, see GRC-165.

RF-401(Harris) VHF/FM transceiver. Desk top base, or mobile
station(currently wired for 110vac). Mostly solid state(tube in output),
50-70 watts. Xtaled up on Marine freqs.2 avail

RF-1525(Harris), 12 chan xtal contr, VHF/FM mobile/portable transceiver.
2 avail(xtaled around 160mc)

RT-3, P/O CIA RS-1 or GRC-109, 3-22mc 20w CW Transmitter. Vg cond.
PP-2684, power supply for above or GRC-109. VG cond.

SPF model AD, Forest Service portable 3-4mc AM/CW transceiver(1938-1945).
This one has been converted to xtal control on tx & rec, have most the
parts to restore it, or use it for parts. Marked Government of the
Province of Alberta(Canada).

17A3; Countermeasures rec.Built by General Electronics.Tunes 30-250mc in
two bands, am/fm/cw.Bandwidths of NBFM/3/30/300/500kc & 4mc. Controls for
Audio selection(10kc/am/pulse/fm),coarse fine tune, ANL threshold, AFC,
BFO, IF & audio gain, outputs for video/IF/AF, many other gadjets.Two

BC-348's; Two avail, #1 parts radio, no case, complete but crap
condition. #2 Front panel has been replaced for rack mounting, think it
works.

BC-474, HF AM/CW man-pack transmitter/receiver. Needs work but
restorable, or useable as-is.(See MCGP Backmail #33)

BC-603(or maybe BC-683) vehicular FM receivers. Crummy shape. 2ea

BC-603, & BC-604, WW-II vehicular FM receivers & transmitters. Have

BC-611F, early flot bottom version.

BC-652(A); Receiver, Part of SCR-506 HF vehicular station. Companion to
BC-653 transmitter. Ops 2-6mc in 2 bands. Has been artfully converted to
110vac operation, no extra holes in front panel. Phila 42 date.(can loan
SCR-506 manual & other data)

BC-659;Simi to BC-620 except ops 27-38mc, & has built in speaker.
