Air volume...next question

OK,
I'm not seeing a clutch on the compressor (no surprise, just something to go
wrong) what regulates pressure, and it does run the whole time the engine is
running, right?

Note also that it's rather useless to try to run one of these off of the
engine, if that's what you had in mind, it needs oil pressure from the
engine to lubricate it and the drain oil all drops out the bottom and ends
up back in the engine via the compressors mounting base.
