Fellow Mite owners, I am suddenly having trouble shifting into 4wd. I can
take the linkage to the transfer case off and shift the lever by hand quite
easily. The problem appears to be in the 1st gear lock-out system on top of
the transmission; but the TM -10 and -20 are of absolutely no help.
What can I expect if I try to take off the top of the transmission to get at
the lock-out mechanism? Can the top be taken off without dropping little
springy things down into the works of the transmission?
