>From your description and my own '70 151A2 you have the '' Hot Water Heater (-25' F) kit.
The fan switch should be at about 1 o'clock from the master light switch..
On the outside, above where the slave cable receptical is, is the cowel ventilater.
When this is pulled up outside fresh air is admitted to the heater.
Just under the dash , above the gas pedal there should be a round tube with a hinged cap.
Push the cap down toward the gas pedal and hot air from the heater is diverted to the drivers
compartment. There should be another tube / cap on the passenger side that does the same thing
between the heater and the transmission hump, just under the dash.
Caps closed-- max. defrost. Open-- max passenger heat.
In the engine compartment there are 2 shutoff cocks to stop the circulation of engine coolant
through the heater core. The shutoffs are located at the front of the engine; one on the water
pump and the other on the cylinder head. Turn both shutoffs counterclockwise to open.
I hope that this helps you.
P.S. there should be some duct work that is visible if you remove the gauge cluster.
